I don't think he'll be in anything but a minimum security prison, since he is not violent and poses no risk of flight.

Assuming no compulsory guidelines mandating the sentence the judge must impose, I'd give him two years in a country-club prison, followed by five more of supervised parole (he has to report regularly, etc.) and dispose of it that way.

I'm almost positive that if he does go to prison, it will be a white collar prison which would pose very little threat to his personal safety.

They simply call the left when it points out that "nucular" is not a word in the English language.

Words like "idear" and "umbrellar" are Brooklyn and Boston, "ova theya" for over there is New England, words like "fahr" for fire are southern pronunciations, "sinate" for senate is trom Tixas (Texas) and Oklahoma, etc. Those are regionalisms or accents, and are annoying or charming depending on the ear of the listener.

But "nucular" simply is not a word. I don't care how many times Bush and Eisenhower and Palin used it, it isn't a word. Failure to properly learn the language of the country they profess to love so much leaves one bemused.

I think he will get pardoned. I'm not opposed to this...

I think I'd consider his a special case and give him a year to write down anything he could think of that might help us avoid situations where we have to find people guilty of the acts he was convicted of. If he can't come up with anything useful then I guess he's guilty of the one case of crime and deserves the common punishment for that. If he gives us something to work with I think he should be considered to have paid his dues and maybe freed by the truth.

If there was anything to tell would he choose the protection of prison over the freedom to 'confess' it?

Turkeys are placed in the category of dumbest animals. Now dead and alive they met Palin! We thought history had pushed the genius from Alaska into the background for a while. Not so! She always finds another way to rise and shine.

well, Law as with all-things-Palin, it's not.. controversial.. just.. poorly managed. It truly is no big deal, save that, it shows her cluelessness.

I'm amused at the shock of it all.. I mean.. turkeys die for us to eat them.. and.. I'm also a bit amused that the media has to 'fade-out' the dying turkey, as if it's too gruesome for primetime..

I'm just waiting for the day when I turn on the news and don't see Gov Palin ... *sigh*
