Horror vacui aka cenophobia...in the art world, the fear of empty spaces, where every square inch of the canvas, paper, etc. was filled with endless details, shapes, lines, colors, figures, etc. The term was also used to describe the cluttered design of Victorian interiors. Remember the "Where's Waldo?" children's books by Martin Handford?

This might have been part of thinker's problem. The fear of all this unused blank cyber space just sitting here like a huge blank sheet of paper which had to be filled and refilled on a daily basis. My own pet theory is that there was no such thinker individual, and that all these posts which have been attributed to him are actually the work of a very bored Mel Gibson impersonator.

What concerns me now is what or who will replace all these unholy renderings now that thinker is no longer with us? Will more unholier than thou's come along to take up where he left off? Or will this thread just dry up and become the silent FM cyber museum of unholy ground where nobody ever posts anything?

I might be able to help you with those dizzy spells. Long posts are probably responsible. Try posting shorter posts or use a lot of abbreviations and chopped up text message spelling. When I encounter an especially long post I just speed scan it in a few seconds and pick out whtevr sounds intrstng. If that doesn't help, try reading the book of Revelation backwards.

Get it on tape and play it backwards. I imagine being dizzy won't be the only thing you get from that.

Thinker quoted this Eric Jon Phelps character in one (maybe more) of his posts. Phelps is a real wacko. His book "Vatican Assassins" is very popular among all the Jesuit-Catholic bashers and white supremacists on the web.

His photo appears on one such site along with all kinds of conspiratorial crap linking the Jesuits to various groups, including Hitler and the Nazis. Phelps pretends to be some kind of bible scholar and authority on the Jesuits, but what he does best is slander people who disagree with his bizarre conspiracy theories. One of his favorite publicity stunts is to name someone a 'Jesuit temporal coadjutor' whatever that is.

One of the most bizarre claims being made by Eric Jon Phelps is the idea he promotes that the Jesuits were responsible for the WWII nuclear explosions at Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Phelps insists that they were detonated on the ground by...yep, you guessed it...The Jesuit nuclear bombers. According to Phelps, five of the ground bombers emerged unscathed from ground zero, claiming their survival was a miracle from the Virgin Mary. Phelps goes on to say the American B-29's simply dropped magnesian fire bombs to cover the twin ground-detonated nuclear explosions.

Phelps claims to be, among other things, a zionist, a Hebrew Israelite, a White American Freeman, and a white supremacist who hasn't filed an IRS tax return in over 25 years. The amazing thing is he keeps getting invited to speak at various events and appears on radio talk shows peddling his bizarre Jesuit conspiracy theories.

Phelps also claims that the earth is the center of the universe and as such the sun evolves around earth and not the other way round as most astronomers and scientists claim. Here again, he uses Bible verses to back up his claim that earth is stationary and cannot be moved (Psalm 93:1) and that the sun orbits around the earth (Psalm 19:6). Phelps refers to Albert Einstein as one of "the Pope's court Jews."

These people on the web who promote racist hate ideas and conspiracies. I'm thinking it has more to do with making money from selling books, newsletters, CD's, DVD's, and other such products than it does with promoting their idiotic beliefs. Only an extremely ignorant person would actually believe most of the garbage they put on their websites and in their books. They pretend they are having intelligent discussions about crap like the Jesuit conspiracy for example, but what they are actually doing is drumming up sales for their products, and some even have the balls to ask for a donation to keep the site going.
