She is a beauty isn't she? I think she still lives out there in Oklahoma someplace...way out in the boondocks and she worked for a long time as a horse whisperer on Billy Bob Butler's Dude ranch. They didn't get electricity out there until 1965. Then a few years ago Pom got her very first computer through the Willie Nelson Farm Aid Rural Educational Program, and the rest is history. You've no doubt heard of cowboy poets, well, Pom is what you might call a cowgirl poet, and a good one too.

If we hold another Miss Fool Moon contest I'm not sure if you'll get many replies. They're are more married women then single ladies on this site. Guess we'll just have to wait and see if anyone is interested.

That was four or five years ago, Rose. This is 2008 and time for a new contest, and this time how about we follow the rules and require all the participants to submit a nice color photo of themselves wearing a swimsuit. That's why they call it the "Swimsuit Competition". Anyone can post a stupid post saying they want to be Miss FoolMoon. So? So do a thousand other women. What makes that person special enough to be named Miss FM? THAT"S what we want to know.

In the past nobody seemed to take this contest serious enough. Don't they realize this title comes with enormous responsibility? Poor Scg was on the road nearly 11 months that year hosting special events, doing charity work and representing the rest of us. She wasn't like some people I know who were just in it for the crown and big product endorsement contracts. I blame the people who are in charge.

Over four years and still not one Miss FoolMoon swimsuit photo. What a bunch of prudes!

As the official spokesperson for The World, it is my duty and responsibility to inform the person or persons who authorized this so-called Miss FoolMoon USA contest, that such contests which exclude women from other countries around the world are not allowed. To be legal, this must be changed to the Miss International FoolMoon Contest, and include contestants from around the globe. Fair is fair, etc. I am THE World Headquarters Man who is in charge of the entire world, which includes all beauty contests.

After careful investigation of the so-called Miss FoolMoon Contest, I have come to the conclusion that there is no such thing as a Miss FoolMoon largely because there are no women posting in the Paranoia Files. That's right, only men post here.

It was all simply a conspiracy put here by a few self-centered Paranoid men to weed out infiltrators. Those who entered the competition were all men. That's why there were never any swimsuit photos posted, or if there were they were either immediately removed or doctored with Photoshop. My in-depth report will be made available to the posting public soon.

As the official spokesperson for the "Miss Fool Moon" contest, it is my sad duty to inform everyone that the Miss Fool Moon Beauty and Swimsuit Pageant has been discontinued. These contest things cost money, and the faltering world economy simply will not support such luxurious and expensive endeavors. There are judges to pay and consultants to consult, not to mention all the publicity of such an event.

Over the years, I have received literally hundreds..no no, make that thousands of wonderful photos from around the world of all the exceptionally beautiful women out there who entered this pageant. I am at a loss as to what to do with these amazing images, and I can only say that it has been a privilege to have been involved with such an important and rewarding event.

Someone suggested that I post them here as a tribute to all those who participated, but unfortunately there are far too many to do that. Instead, I shall make a few copies and store them in the World Headquarters Archives.

I for one really hate to see the Miss Fool Moon Contest cancelled. I suppose we all have to make some kind of sacrifice to get the economy back on track. I'd like to look over those photos sometime. Are those the swimsuit collection that you once mentioned in an earlier post? The ones you intercepted? Beautiful women from around the world?
