I don't know what either one of you are talking about.

Why don't we give this line of dead-horse flogging a rest now, hmmm?

Speaking about Emmanuel... Emmanuel, a smart, experienced, feisty, AND a devout Jew as WH Chief of Staff is an "unusual" choice for all those who still harp on Obama being a "closet-Muslim", don't you think ?

My be he should just get a all black administration .And see how people who voted for him react .I think you would likely see some riots then . I think he is smarter than that though I think he will be very careful to pick people who will hopefully turn America in the right direction for economy alternative fuels and America terrorist threats .

Rahm Emanuel is intelligent, experienced and fiesty. He's also profane and vindictive. He's the fourth ranking Democrat in the House and knows how it works, was an investment banker for three years, is fiercely loyal and is known on both sides of the aisle as the man who can "get the job done."

I think President-elect Obama needs all of those traits to work through the state of the economy, just as he needs Biden's foreign policy knowledge. The President-elect has said that he knows what he knows and knows what he doesn't know.

What a lot of people don't seem to know--even now, after 8 yrs. of GWB,-- is that the President is pushing his agenda. That's why he's been hired by us. By electing Barak Obama, we've said that what he's said is what we want the most.

I think what we want the most--right now--is getting the economy back into shape. If Emanuel can help do that, then he's the correct choice.

While a few names like Caroline Kennedy has been tossed around in recent days, I was wondering what role Gen. Clark might play in an Obama administration...if any?

'Gen. Wesley Clark: As I walked onto the field in Grant Park -- there were thousands of us around the podium -- a couple of reporters asked me what I thought of this. "Transformational," I said, "but, ask Ernest Green, right here, who was one of the original young people at Central High who broke segregation in the South. Ask him!" It was a humbling and deeply moving experience to be there and to see the faces of all around us, representing all the diversity that Barack cited in his remarks. Some were jubilant, some were softly sobbing, some were joyous, a couple were watching others in the crowd. Cell phones and cameras were everywhere as people called friends and families to share the experience.

Eric Holder...Attorney General! (a formal announcement will be made when the vetting process is finished)

Well, Janet Reno has Parkinson's or she might have been in the running, too! I am not very comfortable with having the Clinton administration back. I really thought Obama would shop around a little more for new talents. Bush was torn apart by his father's left-overs and they did as they pleased. Obama is not a Bush, but too much "wisdom" from has beens cannot be good.

Holder seems a good choice, despite his late-coming, bad call in the Rich pardons. He has acknowledged that he made a mistake, which is something Bush's AGs never did. Maybe DC can change.

Even Orren Hatch didn't seem to feel that affair would cause the Senate much agitation in the confirmation hearings.

Two female governors making political news from states starting with "A". However, the difference between them is like a comparism between Einstein and Alfred E. Newman. <- Sarcasm!

Mrs. Napolitano, Arizona governor and former state attorney will head homeland security. She seems to be a good pick for the complicated job. Among other things she is well acquainted with the illegal immigration and border problems.

I also hope Mrs. Napolitano will bring some common sense to the job. Thousands of frail seniors with hip replacements have to endure strenuous calithenics at airports bcause a doctor's certificate is not accepted. Why can the information not be stored and pulled up on a computer (as cops do when they stop "felons" on the highway and use a quick confirmation of the violators background)
