Week 13 Picks:


2 Texas Tech @ 5 Oklahoma
The next biggest game of the year. Bradford is gonna be hearing footsteps after getting knocked out on first play of last year's game. Texas Tech is playing relaxed and have more weapons than last year. I pick Texas Tech to win.

3 Florida vs. The Citadel
Florida is way too much for The Citadel, a patsy. Florida will blow them away but it may hurt Florida in the long run with strength of schedule in their BCS title chances.

7 Penn State vs. 17 Michigan State
I thought Penn State would lose one game this year and this game would be it. Then Iowa gave them a lose. Now I have to pick Penn State to win.

8 Utah vs. 16 BYU
Utah is just a little bit better than BYU and are at home. I pick Utah to win.

9 Boise State @ Nevada
Nevada can score a lot, just not quite like Boise State. Boise State should win.

10 Ohio State vs. Michigan
Ohio State had some bad games. Michigan is having a really bad season. I Pick Ohio State to win.

14 Ball State @ Central Michigan
Ball State has the little something extra this year but face a team that isn't too shabby either at 8 - 2. Gotta stick with Ball State in this one. An upset would not be a shocker though.

15 TCU vs. Air Force
TCU should win the game at home since they are pretty evenly matched teams.

18 LSU vs. Mississippi
LSU gets the slight nod at home.

19 Cincinnati vs. 20 Pittsburgh
Two good teams so it is really a toss-up. I pick Cincinnati to win.

21 Oregon State @ Arizona
Oregon State is trying to win out and take the PAC10 title. I'll pick them to do that.

22 Maryland vs. Florida State
Maryland already had the advantage of a home game and now with FSU's troubles there is no doubt. Maryland wins.

23 Miami @ Georgia Tech
Both teams are at 7 - 3. There is the Thursday night jinx on team with a ranking that includes the number 2. I pick Georgia Tech for the upset win at home.

25 North Carolina vs. North Carolina State
North Carolina should win because they are three games better.

As much as I want OSU to win, I'm just not sure they can. Oklahoma wins a close one.

Another good rivalry game. Texas A&M just won't be able to stop McCoy and the Longhorns. Texas wins.

#5 Southern California vs. Notre Dame
Notre Dame is getting better and better each week. Will they have enough to beat USC? I don't think so. USC wins.

#7 Texas Tech vs. Baylor
Easy win for TT against a good Baylor team..

#9 Boise State vs. Fresno State
BS wins a good game against a fast and good Fresno team..

#12 Missouri vs. Kansas
Missouri wins a good game against an decent Kansas team..

#13 Georgia vs. #18 Georgia Tech
Georgia will win a very close game.

#15 Ball State vs. Western Michigan
Easy win for Ball State against a weak WM.

Cinci will earn this win against a tough Syracuse team..

Oregon State will win this one in the end.

1 Alabama vs. Auburn
Auburn is playing to become bowl-eligible. Alabama is playing for much bigger things like championships. I think Auburn is going to catch Alabama looking ahead and win the big upset.

Florida is playing the best in the country right now. Florida State likes to lose at home this year. Florida wins.

3 Oklahoma @ 11 Oklahoma State
The home team usually wins this game. Since it is in Stillwater, Oklahoma is in big trouble. I pick Oklahoma State to win upset.

Intense rivalry game but Texas A-M just doesn't have the weapons this year. Texas wins.

5 Southern California vs. Notre Dame
Notre Dame has been playing tough and USC has beaten up on a long list of cupcakes. They will get a tough game from Notre Dame. I pick Notre Dame to win upset.

Baylor can't hang with Texas Tech. Texas Tech wins big.

9 Boise State vs. Fresno State
It is tough to beat smurfs on their own blue field. Boise State wins.

Kansas is back to being Kansas so I pick Missouri to win.

Georgia should win close game at home.

1 Alabama @ 2 Florida
SEC Conference Championship. These teams are so different in style of play. Grind it out vs. lights out. The #1 Team is not the favorite. No respect. I give them props and pick Alabama to win.

4 Oklahoma @ 19 Missouri
Big 12 Championship. The BCS put Oklahoma in the game over the two teams with matching records in the Big 12 South (Texas and Texas Tech). Oklahoma is strong but the Big 12 Championship game is known for huge upsets. On that note I pick Missouri to win the upset.

5 USC @ UCLA
USC is pretty dang good and UCLA is pretty dang bad. This is a big rivalry game though. I think USC is just too strong and will win.

12 Ball State @ Buffalo
Mid-American Conference Championship game. Buffalo is coming in with a 7 - 5 record, Ball State is undefeated. I pick Ball State to win this game.

13 Cincinnati @ Hawaii
Hawaii is down from last year but getting better by the week. I pck Hawaii for the upset win at home. Jetlag is a pain for teams going to Hawaii to play.

18 Boston College @ Virginia Tech
Boston College is one game better than Virginia Tech so I pick them to win.

23 Pittsburgh @ Connecticut
Pretty close in records so I pick the home team Connecticut to win upset.
