I am going to take McCain by three percent with a turn out rate of 47% of all eligible voters.

The convention helped McCain gain back some of his losses, with no significant bump in the polls.

According the most recent Gallup poll Obama is leading by 4 points 48 to 44...

I really think it's too close to call, and many dirty tricks to come between now and election day.

I was watchng Fox News when the host raised the question of Obama's years at Columbia U. in New York City, and why they were glossed over.

He didn't say anything untoward happened, what he did, in true neocon fashion, was lean into the camera and say "Why did he gloss this over?"

My guess is, if they dig into his Columbia U. records, they'll find he probably took a social studies course from some lefty, or wrote an essay on "social equality" which is all Fox News needs to pain him as a Communist-Terrorist-Muslim.

Obama, to his credit, will fight back. But in my own opinion, one formed by watching events these past eight years, the neocon wing of the Republican party is capable of anything. I mean anything, to win.

So even if the polls were even, it will be uphill for Obama against these people.

I turned on Fox News yesterday, and I think it was Hannity outraged because Obama will not release his college transcripts!

Should we be asking for Palin's transcripts from the FIVE colleges she attended to get a BA ? Should we be asking for McCain's Annapolis' transcripts ?

And maybe they will find something he has written that expresses his real beliefs. Which is what people do when they write. Which he understands and has not left much of a paper trail.

I pick McCain and Palin because I think the American people will wake up and realize that with Obama they really don't know what they are getting.

Besides now echoing Obama on many of his original proposals, McCain has managed to highjack both the "we need change" line and rock star status with Palin.

There's no need for McCain's Annapolis transcript, it's known that he finished about fifth from the bottom of his class. But that won't have anything to do with whether or not he's elected, as the past two elections have shown.

Hannity is still outraged that Obama uses the White Only drinking fountain.

You know, we were doing pretty well in this thread until Dax decided to engage in a racist attack on Hannity. One, there is NOTHIGN to support that attack. Two, it is nothing more than an effort to paint those who oppose Obama as a racists. Three, its typical of the new direction Fool Moon has taken.
