So please tell me who you are?

whats you like to do, and do best?

Where you from?

Are you a Republican, Democrat, or Independent?

Are you a Liberal, Conservative, or Moderate?

Where do you stand on certain issues?

What issues are most important to you, and why?

Anything else?

Hi Joe, nice to meet you!

I'm from California, the land of the liberal loonies (as Ray refers to many of them) :smirk:

The best way to get to know me or any of the posters for that matter, is to stay for awhile. Just like friends in real life, eventually we all know who is a neo con and who is a lunatic leftist commie... It works quit well.

The most important issue on my agenda is the economy. The billions of dollars we are spending on Iraq which is - one of those social programs that doesn't work - could best be used to shore up our own infastructure...socially as well as physically!

Sorry Joe, but it isn't any of your business. Why does it matter to you?

I especially refuse to put simplistic labels on myself or others.

You'll just have to try to figure these things out as best you can from my posts.

And don't call: my phone is unpublished.

Humph.

Welcome. smile

Hey Joe,

Your questions are a little too broad and all-encompassing to be answered well in a single reply. smile

You might want to try and break your question up into sections and ask it in parts? Just a thought. Also, "Where do you stand on certain issues?" is just a wee bit vague... there are a whole lot of issues. How about narrowing it down to some classes of issues, such as national security, or the economy, or civil rights, or health care, or the budget, or taxation, or the Constitution, or.... well, stuff of that nature? smile

Hi, Joe, I know you're in the Army and in Iraq. I'm a former Army brat and in the US. As for politics, I was often told, while growing up, that one shouldn't talk about either religion of politics in polite company; however, since FM isn't always polite company, I'll say that I'm basically a moderate independent.

Tell us more about yourself.

Hello everyone,

Sorry about the poorly thought out question. I've must admitt, I got kind of lazy. Been long days in country here. So I will start with me. Most of you already know a little about me.
I will be posting a coming blogg about where I stand politicaly, my ideas, and what issues matter most to me. . As the one posted is just being used as an example to the question itself.

Here I go, My name is Joe, 31 years of age. I'm from western Pennsylvania. I Join the U.S. Navy when I was 19, and more recently just joined the U.S. Army. I switch branches because I wanted to serve in Iraq itself. My job in the navy wouldn't let me see Iraq.

I went to college for almost two years, I have still yet to go back and finish. I will finish when I have completed active duty.

I love hunting, fishing, boating, hiking, camping, and a good cigar. I also like to bungee jump and sky-dive, I have to still yet..........Sky-dive.

I met my beautiful soon to be wife, Jen, in college. She is the best thing to ever happen to me. I am looking forward to raising a family with her in the coming years.

I must say other then jen, my life is pretty basic. But I am looking to change that. I'm going to prepare myself for a life in politics and hope it all works out.

Any more questions, please feel free to ask.

Well, I have spilled the beans, and hope to hear some more great stuff from you. Thank You!

However, your bank routing and account numbers along with any applicable PINs will be just fine! whistle
