There are a lot of Internet Browsers out there, but which one is the best for windows?

I personally don't care for IE at all. I have too many problems with it.

I currently use Firefox, but when I install the latest version I can't use plug-ins I had before. So I tried to go down to an older version, can't find one over 2.0 though.

So there is other stuff like seamonkey, flock etc. but which one is really a good one for windows?

All I've used is Firefox. I find it odd that you can't use your old plug-ins. I upgraded to 3.0 and had no problems with mine, though I don't use all that many.

Have you tried updating the add ons?

I think this may be a problem in terminology. I, too, am using FireFox 3.0 and I have no problem with my plug-ins, e.g. Real Player, Java, Flash Player, Acrobat Reader, etc.

However, there are a number of add-on extentions that haven't been upgraded to work with the latest versions of FireFox. For instance, TinyUrl Creator just upgraded a few weeks ago. But I had a currency converter that I can no longer use and Faster Firefox is still not available.

Yes I did try that stone, but it tells me that there aren't any plug-ins or add ons available for this version.

I though managed to get an older version back again. So every thing's good for right now.

Try to find newer plugins that do a simlar job to the older ones.

Firefox disables older plugins to stop an older plugin, which is no longer being updated, causing issues with the browser. It is also done to stop people who don't want to update their old plugins, issuing bug complaints to the Firefox developers, just because they want to be able to use ancient plugins with a new browser.
